Yesterday we took the ferry across the harbor to Manly beach. It's a very popular tourist area just north of the harbor mouth. The view from the ferry on the way there was a treat in itself. Pictures taken from the ferry are on the photo site under the folder 'View from Ferry'. Once we got to Manly we walked across from the harbor side to the open ocean side and had lunch on the beach. We walked out onto some rocks that were exposed due to the low tide and saw lots of creatures in the mini tide pools that form in the pits and crevices.
